As we start our 41st year as an organization, the MGS board has an immediate opening.

Treasurer

We need a new volunteer treasurer. The treasurer is responsible for maintaining the ongoing financial records of the MGS, paying our Managing Director, and assisting with budget projections for our concert series and guitar education program. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel as a platform for financial/budget recordkeeping and basic accounting/bookkeeping documents, as well as prior experience (professional or volunteer) as a bookkeeper, accountant, or treasurer, is required.
